What to expect on your first visit
Our team is excited to welcome you to Vike-Steinich Chiropractic. Before your visit, we would appreciate if you complete our online new patient form, available below. If you are unable to complete prior to your appointment, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete your forms on our Ipad. By completing your paperwork in advance, you allow the doctor more time to get to know you and to review your history in detail. This will help us provide the best care for you and help you achieve better results.
Dr. Kristin will talk with you about your health history and any concerns you have. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have about chiropractic care. Dr. Kristin will perform a complete exam. A Nervo-scope is used to detect heat, which locates any areas of swelling. Static palpation, which is simply feeling the bones in your spine for tenderness, swelling and/or other abnormalities. Motion palpation, which is simply bending your spine to look for signs of fixation.
If necessary, Dr. Kristin will take a full spine weight bearing x-rays. X-rays are an important tool for analysis. They can help determine the condition of the discs, the phases of degeneration, to locate potential problem areas and misalignments. To see is to know, to not see is to guess. We don't want to guess when it comes to your health care.
Dr. Kristin will explain how the adjustment is going to happen and your chiropractic care will begin on the first visit. It is her goal to get you back on the road to health as quickly as possible without having predetermined number of future visits. Please keep in mind that periodic "tune ups" are a important factor in maintaining good health.

We perform gentle and specific chiropractic adjustments to correct these misalignments, restore proper function to the nervous system, and increase your potential for optimal health and well-being.
We love hearing our grown-up patients tell us they haven’t felt this good in years! Other times they come in for back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, sciatica, elbow pain, knee pain, etc. - and then realize life just feels better well adjusted!
PREGNANCY
At Vike-Steinich Family Chiropractic, we are passionate at providing care to our patients at every stage of life. Dr. Kristin is Webster Certified, in adjusting pregnant mamas! Chiropractic adjustments help keep the structure of the hips and spine balanced during pregnancy and birth. Adjustments help enable the body to function at its best before, during, and after pregnancy. We always say, happier, healthier mama equals happier, healthier babies!
Our pregnant mamas tell us so many awesome things after their adjustments! Things like they are sleeping better, their sciatic nerve or low back pain feels better, round ligament pain is decreased, baby is in a great position and sometimes just that they love laying on their belly - if even for a moment!
INFANTS AND CHILDREN
We love hearing moms and dads tell us that they feel like their child has experienced benefits such as: better sleep, less ear infections, improvement in behavioral issues, improvements in constipation, reaching milestones, decreased acid reflux symptoms, and diminished allergy symptoms after staring adjustments!
At Vike-Steinich Family Chiropractic, Dr. Kristin is highly trained on how to take care of your infants and children. Adjustments on infants and children are safe and gentle and she’ll use the techniques best suited for your child’s health.
Dr. Krisint understands that with anything new, there are always questions, especially when it comes to your little one. She will listen to those questions and concerns and answer them as specifically as she can.
